No-Bake Banana Split Cake

A delightful no-bake dessert that captures the flavors of a classic banana split in a simple layered cake format.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz whipped topping (e.g., Cool Whip)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 to 4 bananas, sliced
  • 20 oz can crushed pineapple, well-drained
  • 20 oz strawberries, sliced
  • 8 oz whipped topping (e.g., Cool Whip)
  • 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts (or your favorite nuts)
  • Chocolate sauce (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: In a large mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and salt. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish.
  2. Whip up the filling: In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth, then add sugar, beaten well. Fold in first 8 ounces of whipped topping and vanilla extract.
  3. Layer the deliciousness: Spread half of the cream cheese filling over the crust, add half of the sliced bananas, all of the crushed pineapple, and half of the sliced strawberries. Spread the remaining cream cheese mixture over the fruits, then top with the remaining banana and strawberry slices, and the last 8 ounces of whipped topping.
  4. Finish with a sprinkling of chopped hazelnuts and drizzle with chocolate sauce.

Notes

For a nut-free version, omit the nuts; for a dairy-free option, use coconut cream and coconut whipped topping.
