Dump and Bake Chicken Parmesan Casserole

A comforting and easy-to-make Chicken Parmesan Casserole that brings the flavors of Italian cuisine to your table.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Layer the mixture in a greased 9×13-inch casserole dish, spreading it out evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and then the grated parmesan cheese on top.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  6. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For an extra crispy top, switch your oven to broil for the last 2-3 minutes of baking.
