  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 3/4 cups cold milk
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 cup chocolate sauce

Instructions

  1. Mix the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter until well-moistened.
  2. Press Into a Pan: Evenly press the crumb mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Chill in the Fridge: Refrigerate the crust while preparing the next layers.
  4. Mix Cream Cheese: Beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  5. Fold in Whipped Topping: Gently fold in whipped topping until well combined.
  6. Spread Evenly: Layer the cream cheese mixture over the chilled cookie crust.
  7. Prepare the Pudding: Whisk together pudding mix and cold milk for about two minutes until smooth and thickened.
  8. Layer Over Cream Cheese: Pour the pudding over the cream cheese layer.
  9. Chill Again: Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes to let the pudding set.
  10. Top with Whipped Topping: Spread a layer of whipped topping over the pudding layer.
  11. Sprinkle on Pecans: Evenly distribute chopped pecans on top.
  12. Drizzle Sauces: Drizzle caramel and chocolate sauce over the top in swirls.
  13. Chill Again: Cover and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
  14. Slice and Serve: Cut into squares and serve chilled.

Notes

Letting the lasagna sit overnight enhances the flavors.
