  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 3/4 cups cold milk
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 cup chocolate sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cookie Crust: In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Stir until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Make the Cream Cheese Layer: In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping gently. Spread this mixture over the cooled crust.
  3. Prepare the Chocolate Pudding: In another bowl, whisk the instant chocolate pudding mix with cold milk until thickened, about 2 minutes. Pour this pudding layer over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Top It Off: Spread the remaining whipped topping over the pudding layer.
  5. Add the Finishing Touches: Drizzle the caramel and chocolate sauce over the whipped topping and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  6. Chill and Set: Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Notes

For a lighter option, graham cracker crumbs can substitute for the chocolate cookie crust. Try using homemade whipped cream for an elevated taste.
