Smoked Lobster Tails with Parmesan Butter

A delightful recipe for smoked lobster tails paired with a velvety Parmesan butter, perfect for impressing guests or enjoying a special meal at home.

  • 4 Lobster Tails
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 cloves Garlic (Minced)
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese (Grated)
  • 1/2 cup Butter (Unsalted)
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley (Chopped)

Instructions

  1. Thaw and clean the lobster tails, rinsing them gently under cold water.
  2. Cut the top shell of the lobster tails down the center to expose the meat.
  3. Remove the black vein for a clean bite.
  4. Brush the exposed meat with olive oil and massage it in.
  5. Season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
  6. Preheat the smoker to around 225°F to 250°F.
  7. Place lobster tails meat side up on the smoker rack.
  8. Smoke for about 30-40 minutes until they are opaque and tender.
  9. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
  10. Add minced garlic and grated Parmesan to the melted butter and stir for 2-3 minutes until combined.
  11. Finish with lemon juice and parsley, removing from heat.
  12. Check if lobster tails are cooked through and opaque.
  13. Plate the smoked lobster tails and drizzle with Parmesan butter.

Notes

For a beautiful presentation, serve with lemon wedges and fresh parsley. Pair with crusty bread or a green salad.
