Cozy Pumpkin French Toast

A warm, delicious breakfast dish that captures the essence of fall with pumpkin flavor and warm spices.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices thick bread (brioche, challah, or gluten-free)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk (or non-dairy milk)

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

  2. Soak the Bread: Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, allowing them to soak for about 30 seconds on each side.
  3. Heat the Pan: Preheat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and add butter or oil.
  4. Cook the Toast: Place the soaked bread slices onto the skillet and cook for about 3-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  6. Plating: Stack the slices on a plate, top with whipped cream or pumpkin butter, and dust with cinnamon.

Notes
