A festive and crunchy 4th of July Chex Mix featuring a blend of cereals, pretzels, and colorful chocolate candies, perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 4 cups Chex cereal (Rice, Corn, or Wheat)
  • 2 cups pretzels (regular, honey, or gluten-free)
  • 2 cups popcorn (lightly salted or buttered)
  • 1 cup red, white, and blue chocolate candies
  • 1/2 cup butter (salted or unsalted)
  • 1 tablespoon seasoned salt
  • Optional: sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
  2. Prepare a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Combine the Chex cereal and pretzels in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Add the popcorn and gently fold it in.
  5. Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals and stir in the seasoned salt.
  6. Drizzle the butter mixture over the cereal, pretzel, and popcorn and toss to coat.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
  8. Cool the mixture and then fold in the red, white, and blue chocolate candies.
  9. Garnish with sprinkles if desired.
  10. Serve in a large bowl or individual cups for easy snacking.
