  • 1 cup heavy cream (for ganache)
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips (for ganache)
  • Brownies (homemade or store-bought)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped cream (for cheesecake filling)
  • More whipped cream (for topping)
  • Extra Oreo crumbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Brownies: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes and let cool completely.
  2. Make the Chocolate Ganache: In a saucepan, combine heavy cream and dark chocolate chips over medium heat until smooth. Cool for 15 minutes.
  3. Prepare the Oreo Cheesecake Filling: Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in whipped cream and crushed Oreos.
  4. Start Layering: Begin with brownie squares, drizzle half of the ganache, add Oreo cheesecake filling, and repeat layers finishing with Oreo crumbs.
  5. Add the Whipped Cream: Top off with whipped cream using a piping bag.
  6. Chill and Serve: Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 3-4 hours before serving.

Notes

This trifle can be made a day in advance for better flavor melding. Feel free to customize with your favorite flavors or toppings.
