  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup toasted chopped pecans
  • 1 1/3 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 9 tablespoons unsalted butter, very soft
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 78 cups chopped nectarines (~89 large nectarines)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prep your nectarines by rinsing, slicing, and removing the pits.
  3. Add 3/4 cup of sugar, 2 tablespoons of cornstarch, 3/4 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to the nectarines and toss together.
  4. Make the streusel topping by combining flour, toasted pecans, oats, brown sugar, 3/4 teaspoon of cinnamon, and kosher salt in a bowl.
  5. Incorporate the softened butter into the dry mixture until crumbly.
  6. Assemble the crisp by pouring nectarines into a greased baking dish and topping with the streusel.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
