Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars

Indulge in the delightful blend of caramel, creamy cheesecake, and fresh apples with these easy-to-make dessert bars.

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (162°C).
  2. Combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl.
  3. Press the mixture into a lined 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust.
  4. Bake the crust for 10 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  6. Add in the vanilla, then the eggs one at a time, mixing well.
  7. Fold in the diced apples and cinnamon.
  8. Pour the mixture over the baked crust and spread evenly.
  9. Drop spoonfuls of caramel sauce over the cheesecake layer and swirl.
  10. Bake for 40-45 minutes until mostly set.
  11. Cool at room temperature for an hour, then chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
  12. Slice and serve drizzled with more caramel sauce.

Notes

These bars can be made a day in advance and are perfect for freezing. Feel free to customize flavors or add nuts for added crunch.
