Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles

Indulgent chocolate chip cookie dough truffles that offer a nostalgic treat without the need to bake.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon milk (if needed)
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional, for melting)

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  3. Combine the heat-treated flour and salt in a separate bowl.
  4. Add the dry mixture to the wet mixture gradually.
  5. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  6. Check the dough’s consistency and add milk if needed.
  7. Chill the dough in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  8. Form the dough into balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  9. Chill again for 15-30 minutes.
  10. Melt the semisweet chocolate chips with coconut oil in intervals.
  11. Coat each truffle in chocolate and let excess drip off.
  12. Set the coating until hardened.
  13. Enjoy!

Notes

Store truffles in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
