10 Minute Fluffy Air Fryer Pretzel Bites

Quick and easy fluffy pretzel bites made in an air fryer, perfect for sharing at parties or movie nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups warm water (110°F)
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2.4 teaspoons quick-rise yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar or honey
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • Pretzel salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm water, sugar (or honey), and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Mix in Dry Ingredients: Add the flour and sea salt into the yeast mixture. Stir with a wooden spoon until a rough dough forms.
  3. Knead the Dough: Dust your countertop with a little flour, turn the dough out, and knead for about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Shape the Pretzel Bites: Divide the dough into equal portions, roll each piece into a rope, and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  5. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Coat the Pretzel Bites: Dip each pretzel bite in boiling water briefly, then place on a parchment-lined air fryer basket.
  7. Air Fry: Cook the pretzel bites in batches for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden and puffed.
  8. Serve: Remove and let cool for a minute, then serve warm with your favorite dips.

Notes

For variations, try adding cheese, garlic, or herbs to the dough. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
