  • 1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey/chicken for a lighter option)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 2 cups lettuce, shredded (Iceberg or romaine)
  • 1 cup tomatoes, diced (fresh or cherry)
  • 1 cup cheese, shredded (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing or taco sauce

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 5–7 minutes until browned.
  2. Add taco seasoning and water, and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  3. Prepare your base by shredding lettuce, dicing tomatoes, and slicing olives.
  4. Mix the cooled ground beef mixture with the lettuce and veggies.
  5. Add the Doritos and toss gently.
  6. Dress with ranch dressing or taco sauce, mixing to combine.
  7. Final touch: sprinkle cheese and olives on top.
