Maple Pecan Bread

A delightful bread that combines the nutty flavor of pecans with the sweetness of pure maple syrup, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 cup pure maple syrup
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Whisk together maple syrup, melted butter, and eggs in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in another bowl.
  4. Add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and fold just until combined, then gently fold in chopped pecans.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Serve warm with butter or extra maple syrup on top. This bread can also be made with vegan substitutions.
