Three Cheese Manicotti

A heartwarming Three Cheese Manicotti filled with creamy ricotta, mozzarella, and parmesan, all baked in a rich spaghetti sauce.

  • 12 manicotti shells
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cups spaghetti sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Additional mozzarella cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the manicotti shells in a large pot of salted water until al dente.
  3. Prepare the cheese filling by mixing ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, egg, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff each manicotti shell with the cheese mixture.
  5. Assemble the dish by pouring some spaghetti sauce in the bottom of a baking dish and placing the stuffed shells inside.
  6. Add the remaining sauce on top and sprinkle with extra mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake covered for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  8. Rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Feel free to customize with spinach, ground meat, or different cheeses to suit your taste!
