Refreshing Kiwi Sorbet

A vibrant and refreshing kiwi sorbet that’s perfect for warm days and a delightful palate cleanser.

  • 6 ripe kiwis, peeled and chopped
  • ½ cup granulated sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest (optional, for extra flavor)

Instructions

  1. Prep the kiwis by peeling and chopping them into even pieces.
  2. Toss your chopped kiwis into a blender and add the sugar or honey, water, lemon juice, and optional lime zest.
  3. Blend until you achieve a smooth puree.
  4. Strain the mixture if you prefer a super smooth sorbet.
  5. Pour the kiwi mixture into a shallow container and cover it tightly before placing it in the freezer.
  6. Let it chill for at least 2 hours or until solid.
  7. Use a fork to scrape the frozen mixture and create light, fluffy ice shavings.
  8. Return to the freezer for another hour before serving.

Notes

If the sorbet is too hard, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving. Adjust sweetness to your taste based on personal preference.
