  • 1 pound (450 g) ground pork sausage
  • 1 (10 oz / 283 g) can Rotel tomatoes with green chilies, well drained
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups (200 g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1½ cups (180 g) Bisquick baking mix
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder (optional)
  • Pinch of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the ground pork sausage, softened cream cheese, and drained Rotel tomatoes in a large bowl until creamy.
  3. Add the shredded cheddar cheese and fold until well-distributed.
  4. Incorporate the Bisquick baking mix, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  5. Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Cool for a few minutes before transferring to a serving platter.
