3 Ingredient Fig Jam

A quick and simple recipe for luscious fig jam made with just three ingredients: fresh figs, sugar, and lemon juice.

  • Sugar
  • Lemon Juice

Instructions

  1. Prep the figs by rinsing them under cool water, drying, removing the stems, and cutting into quarters.
  2. Combine ingredients in a medium-sized pot: cut figs, sugar, and lemon juice.
  3. Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally to bring it to a gentle simmer.
  4. Smash the mixture after about 15-20 minutes until it reaches the desired consistency.
  5. Check for thickness by placing a spoonful on a plate; it should hold its shape.
  6. Cool and store the jam in a clean jar, sealing it once it’s warm.
