Iced Matcha Latte

A refreshing Iced Matcha Latte, perfect for warm afternoons, blending earthy matcha flavors with creamy milk and sweetness.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 12 teaspoons sweetener (honey, sugar, or maple syrup)
  • Ice cubes
  • Water (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whisk the matcha: Place 1 teaspoon of matcha powder in a small bowl, add a tablespoon or two of hot water, and whisk until frothy.
  2. Add more water: If desired, add another 3-4 tablespoons of hot water for a lighter flavor and whisk again.
  3. Sweeten it up: Stir in your chosen sweetener to taste.
  4. Prepare your glass: Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  5. Pour the milk: Add your chosen milk over the ice.
  6. Combine and stir: Pour the matcha mixture over the milk and gently stir to blend.
  7. Taste & Adjust: Taste your latte and adjust sweetness or creaminess as needed.

Notes

Serve garnished with a sprinkle of matcha powder or fresh fruit slices for added color.
