Spook-tacular Halloween Chocolate Chip Cookies

Delightful Halloween Chocolate Chip Cookies filled with flavor, sprinkled with festive fun, and perfect for your Halloween festivities!

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar (67 g)
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar (100 g)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (spooned and leveled, 186 g)
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1/23/4 cup Halloween sprinkles
  • Candy eyes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  3. Whisk everything together until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, whisking until fully blended.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Pour the dry mixture into your wet mixture a little at a time, stirring gently until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips and Halloween sprinkles.
  8. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough and place on a lined baking sheet.
  9. If using candy eyes, add them on top of the dough balls.
  10. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Serve on a spooky platter or stack them high for a fun display. Great with a glass of cold milk or hot cocoa!
