A flavorful pizza topped with sweet figs and savory caramelized onions that brings joy to pizza night.

Ingredients

  • Pizza Dough
  • Fresh Figs, sliced
  • Onions, thinly sliced
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Balsamic Glaze
  • Goat Cheese or Mozzarella Cheese
  • Fresh Thyme or Rosemary (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Caramelize the onions in a skillet with olive oil and salt for about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Prepare the figs by slicing them into ¼-inch thick pieces.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough into a round shape, about 12 inches in diameter.
  5. Assemble the pizza by placing it on a baking sheet; drizzle with olive oil, then layer with caramelized onions, figs, and cheese.
  6. Bake for about 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
  7. Drizzle with balsamic glaze after baking.
  8. Slice and serve.
