Crispy Garlic Parmesan Green Beans

Deliciously crispy green beans tossed in garlic and Parmesan, perfect as a side dish for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rinse the green beans under cool water and trim the ends.
  3. Combine green beans, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes in a mixing bowl; toss until coated.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the green beans on it.
  5. Roast for about 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  6. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan over the beans and return to the oven for another 5 minutes.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh cracked pepper if desired.

Notes

These green beans are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven. They pair beautifully with grilled meats and can even complement omelets.
