Apple Fritter Bread

A warm, gooey loaf bursting with tender apples, cinnamon swirls, and an irresistible sweet glaze.

  • 3 medium apples (preferably Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the apples: Peel, core, and chop the apples into small cubes.
  3. Mix the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  4. Make the batter: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and remaining sugar.
  5. Fold in the apples and half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  6. Layer in the loaf pan: Grease and flour a loaf pan and pour in half of the batter.
  7. Bake it up for about 50-60 minutes.
  8. Cool and glaze the loaf once it’s cooled.

Notes

For a vegan-friendly option, use almond milk or coconut milk in the glaze. Try adding nuts or chocolate chips for extra flair!
