  • 23 Jalapeños (Fresh, diced)
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese
  • 46 strips Bacon (Cooked and Crumbled)
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Cream (Heavy Whipping Cream or Half-and-Half)
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a large pot over medium heat until crispy.
  2. Sauté the jalapeños in the same pot until softened, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Add garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper, cooking for another minute.
  4. Incorporate the chicken broth, bringing to a simmer for about 10 minutes.
  5. Blend in the cream cheese until melted and mixed.
  6. Add the shredded chicken and stir, simmering for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Stir in the cream, warming through.
  8. Adjust the seasoning to taste.
  9. Serve in bowls topped with crumbled bacon and garnish as desired.
