German Beer Cheese Dip

A rich and creamy German Beer Cheese Dip, perfect for gatherings, combining cream cheese, cheddar, Gruyère, and beer for a flavorful experience.

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup beer (preferably a lager or pale ale)
  • 1/2 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped chives for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and Gruyère cheese in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Add the beer and Dijon mustard; mix well.
  4. Flavor it up with minced garlic, salt, and pepper; mix again.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and smooth it out.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and bubbling.
  7. Garnish with chives and serve warm with dippables.

Serve with pretzels, tortilla chips, or crusty bread. You can prep this dip a day ahead.
