Apple Cinnamon Bread

A warm and comforting apple cinnamon bread perfect for cozy days.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 23 firm apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prep your apples by peeling, coring, and chopping them into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Mix together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl.
  4. Cream together the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, and then add the milk.
  6. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  7. Fold in the apples gently.
  8. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar on top.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Serve warm with butter or cream cheese. This bread is even better the next day!
