Dreamy Cottage Cheese Chocolate Mousse

A luscious, guilt-free dessert that combines cottage cheese and rich chocolate for a delightful mousse experience.

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • Chocolate shavings or berries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cottage cheese by draining any excess liquid. Add it to a mixing bowl.
  2. Blend the cottage cheese, cocoa powder, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and salt until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste the mousse and adjust sweetness or chocolate flavor as desired.
  4. Chill the mousse in serving dishes in the fridge for at least one hour.
  5. Garnish with chocolate shavings or berries before serving.

Notes

This mousse can be made ahead of time and kept in the fridge for up to three days. It’s gluten-free and can easily be made vegan with swaps for cottage cheese and honey.
