Bouchées Apéritives au Boursin

Quick and easy bite-sized pastries filled with creamy Boursin cheese and savory ham, perfect for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 rolls of puff pastry
  • 1 pack of Boursin Fig and Walnut cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of milk
  • 2 slices of ham (finely chopped)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • A splash of milk for egg wash (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry to about ¼ inch thickness.
  3. Cut the pastry into squares, about 3×3 inches.
  4. Prepare the filling by mixing Boursin cheese with milk.
  5. Add the finely chopped ham to the cheese mixture.
  6. Assemble by placing a spoonful of filling in the center of each pastry square.
  7. Fold and seal the pastry squares by bringing the corners together.
  8. Egg wash by applying the mixture of egg yolk and milk over each bouchée.
  9. Bake in the oven for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

These bouchées can be made ahead of time and frozen for convenience. Just bake straight from the freezer, adjusting the time as needed.
