Beer Bread

A simple yet delicious recipe for homemade beer bread that fills your kitchen with warmth and delightful aromas.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 can (or bottle) beer
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the dry ingredients: Combine the self-rising flour and a pinch of salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add the beer: Pour in the beer and mix gently until a soft, sticky dough forms.
  4. Pour the dough into a greased loaf pan, smoothing the top as needed.
  5. Melt the butter in the microwave or on the stove.
  6. Brush the melted butter generously on top of the dough.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
