Banana Pudding Rice Krispie Treats

  • 1 cup banana pudding mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 10 oz mini marshmallows
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sliced bananas (optional)
  • Whipped cream (for topping, optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your dish by greasing a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat until liquefied.
  3. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until fully melted and combined with the butter.
  4. Incorporate the banana pudding mix and mix until creamy.
  5. Mix in the Rice Krispies, folding them into the marshmallow mixture.
  6. Add sliced bananas if using and fold gently.
  7. Transfer the mixture to the baking dish and press down evenly.
  8. Let cool to room temperature before slicing into squares.
  9. Slice and serve topped with whipped cream and an extra slice of banana.
