  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup Baileys Irish Cream
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup dark chocolate ganache
  • Chocolate cookies or sponge cake, crumbled
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chocolate ganache: In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of heavy cream and 1 cup of dark chocolate over low heat. Stir continuously until smooth.
  2. Make the cheesecake layer: Beat the cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Add the Baileys and mix well. Whip the remaining heavy cream until stiff peaks form and fold it into the cheesecake mixture.
  3. Assemble your trifle: Start with a layer of crumbled cookies or sponge cake, follow with a layer of the cheesecake filling, and drizzle ganache on top.
  4. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with ganache on top.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
