Red, White, and Blue Patriotic Poke Cake

  • 1 white cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup raspberry or strawberry gelatin mix
  • 1 cup blue raspberry or blue gelatin mix
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • Food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the cake mix, eggs, and water in a large mixing bowl. Stir until smooth.
  3. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  5. Let the cake cool for 15 minutes in the pan.
  6. Poke holes across the top using the end of a wooden spoon.
  7. Prepare the gelatin mixes in separate bowls with boiling water.
  8. Pour the red gelatin over the cake, then the blue gelatin.
  9. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  10. Spread the whipped topping evenly over the chilled cake.
  11. Top with blueberries and sliced strawberries in a fun pattern.
